Norman began his yoga journey somewhere in the early 2000s while working in theatre, where the physical and creative demands of performance first led him to the practice. What started as a way to cultivate balance and presence gradually evolved into a lifelong path of exploration, one that continues to shape both his teaching and his way of life.
After years of dedicated personal practice, he completed a 500-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Svaha Yoga in 2019 and began sharing yoga with others. Driven by a desire to better support each individual, he went on to train as a Yin Yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist, expanding his understanding of yoga as a practice that nurtures the whole person.
In March 2026, he founded The Garuda Connection, a community rooted in mindful movement, connection, and well-being. His teaching is grounded in the belief that yoga is not about achieving the perfect pose, but about developing awareness, resilience, and a deeper relationship with oneself. Drawing on the energy of Vinyasa, the stillness of Yin, and the therapeutic principles of Yoga Therapy, he creates classes that are accessible, welcoming, and responsive to the unique needs of each student.
Whether guiding a dynamic flow or a quiet, restorative practice, his intention is to offer a space where people can move with curiosity, breathe with intention, and reconnect with themselves—on and off the mat.
